Set a default project and workspace transcription language

Set a default project and workspace transcription language

You can now set a default language for all transcriptions across your workspace and set project-specific languages when needed. This is great if your video and audio files are always in the same language, if your language isn’t supported for auto-detect, or if you have teams across countries working with different languages in the same workspace.

We’ve also made it easier to regenerate transcripts. If you accidentally transcribe in the wrong language, you can now click on Transcription options (•••) → Language → select the correct language from the dropdown menu → Regenerate.

Additional improvements
  • Note summaries will now automatically update to replace Speaker 1 and Speaker 2 labels when you assign speaker names in the transcript.

  • You can now add up to 1,000 highlights at a time to a highlight canvas from the picker.

  • Updated workspace field access levels to Can use, Can edit, and Full access to align with what the permission level allows you to do.

  • The note sidebar will now remember what tab you last had open, so when you open any other note in your workspace, the same tab will be open by default.

  • Added the ability to download a CSV file containing all users in your workspace from the Users page in settings.

  • Fixed a bug that was causing summarization to not be available for certain PDF types.

  • Fixed a bug that caused deleted highlights to still appear in transcripts but not the note sidebar.
